BEST-Storage develops building energy-efficient solutions based on short- and long-spectrum thermal energy storage. SOLINTEL acts as project coordinator and is also involved in techno-economic assessment, replication and exploitation activities.

Horizon 2020 · Reference project
OrbEEt developed an ICT-based framework to promote energy-efficient behaviour in public office buildings, transforming operational energy measurements into personalised feedback and engaging user interfaces. The project combined BIM, business-process modelling and real-time energy data to make energy use visible across people, processes and spaces.

FP7 · Reference project
Design4Energy developed an integrated evolutionary design methodology and collaborative virtual workspace to support energy-efficient building design across the life cycle. The project combined energy simulation, eeBIM, decision-support tools, technology databases and training environments to improve performance-based design decisions.

Horizon 2020 · Reference project
HEAT4COOL developed and demonstrated a cost-effective retrofitting solution for net-zero energy buildings, integrating solar-assisted heat pumps, PCM heat and cold storage, sewage-water energy recovery and advanced decision-making tools for optimal refurbishment strategies.

FP7 · Reference project
SEAFRONT advanced environmentally benign antifouling and drag-reducing coating solutions for maritime applications by combining surface structure, chemistry and bio-based fouling-control approaches. SOLINTEL led life-cycle assessment activities, evaluating environmental, economic and social aspects in accordance with ISO 14040 and ISO 14044.
Networks & collaboration
SOLINTEL is an active member of the European Construction Technology Platform (ECTP) and the Energy-Efficient Buildings (E2B) Association. We also contribute to the Ad-Hoc Advisory Industrial Group of the European Commission within the Energy-Efficient Buildings Public-Private Partnership (EeB PPP), strengthening our role in high-value research, demonstration and market-oriented innovation.
